Vitex Agnus-Castus grows throughout Southern Europe, North Africa and Asia. It can be found in Iran, India, Indonesia, China, Afghanistan, Turkey, Israel, Cyprus and Sri Lanka. The plant can grow on loamy, sandy and stony soils, salt-tolerant. In total, the genus includes more than 215 different species.
Joseph Pitton de Tournefort first used the scientific name of the genus Fumaria in 1700. Some time later, in 1753, Karl Linney took over the name of this plant in Species plantarum. Latin word “fumus” means “smoke”. According to one theory, the etymology of the name fumus or “smoke” is from the formation of the actual smoke during the process of burning the roots of the plant.
Maral is a perennial plant with a woody, shortened and horizontal rhizome. Its color is dark brown with a brown tint. Thin delicate roots spread from the rhizomes. The stems of the plant are hollow inside, have a slight ribbing and their surface is slightly webbed. The plant has a resinous odor, and can grow up to 2 meters.

Lobelia is found in eastern and central America and some parts of Canada. It grows in open, sunny places along the roads. It is an annual herbaceous plant 40–90 cm tall, with a fine-leafed root system. The flowers are bisexual, small (5-6 mm long) light blue or bluish-purple in color.
Devil's Claw is a perennial plant with hollow, strongly branching stems that extend along the ground. They can reach up to 100 cm in length. Large, tuber-like thickening are formed on the roots of the plant. The leaves are long, large, up to 20 cm in length, with large teeth along the edge.
