Cordyceps (Cordyceps Sinensis) consists of two parts: sclerotia and stroma. The fungus propagates by spores, which, like a homing weapon, “shoot” only when a caterpillar of a butterfly creeps past. Adhered to the insect, the spores dissolve the skin and penetrate the body, where they remain at rest until the caterpillar begins to bury itself in the ground for pupation on the eve of winter. The stroma of Cordyceps is dark brown or black, less often yellow. A club-shaped or spindle-shaped granular head is clearly visible on a slender, bare, longitudinally furrowed or ribbed leg of the mushroom.*

Suggested use and dosage: Shake well before use. 20-30 drops, three times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal glycerites is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Glycerites can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some glycerites are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
