This liquid extract made from the Certified Organic California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) dried above-ground parts of the plant from France and Certified Organic Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) from France and Certified Organic Blue Vervain (Verbena hastata) from USA . California Poppy also known as Eschscholzia californica, Western Poppy, Poppy, and Gold Poppy. The California poppy is the state flower of California, a tender perennial plant bearing blue-green leaves and 2 to 4 inch (5 to 10 cm) wide flowers that open in bright sun and close on cloudy days and at night. California poppy commonly combined with Passionflower and Blue Vervain to enhance benefits of tincture. Blue Vervain also known as Verbena hastata and officinalis, Verbena, Common Verbena, Common Vervain, Eisenkraut, European Vervain, Herb of Grace, Herb of the Cross, Holy wort, Juno’s Tears, Pigeon weed, Simpler’s Joy, Turkey Grass, Swamp Vervain, Mosquito Plant, and Wild Hyssop. The blue vervain or verbena is a creeping perennial of the mint family, bearing numerous, small lilac-blue flowers. Verbena hastata is native to North America and is incredibly similar in appearance and properties to its European cousin Verbena officinalis, whom it is often mistaken for. Blue Vervain contains mucilages, bitters, iridoid glycosides (hastatoside, verbenalin), caffeic acid, essential oil. Passionflower also known as Passiflora incarnata, Passiflora caerulea, Apricot Vine, Blue and Purple Passionflower, and Maypop.*

Suggested use and dosage for adults: Shake well before use. 20-30 drops (1 ml., one full squeeze of dropper), up to 4 times a day or as directed by your practitioner. The best way to use liquid herbal tinctures is to put the suggested amount in a glass of water, tea, or juice and drink the entire contents. Tinctures can also be administered directly into the mouth without the assistance of water however some tinctures are unpalatable which is why most people prefer to dilute them into a beverage.
